Your Mission in This Role

  • Drive New Business: Prospect, develop, and close new enterprise opportunities through strategic outreach, networking, and relationship building.
  • Develop Key Markets: Build business within ports, airports, rail, manufacturing, and other industrial sectors where reliable wireless infrastructure is essential.
  • Own the Sales Cycle: Lead opportunities from initial prospecting through discovery, proposal development, negotiation, and contract execution.
  • Build Executive Relationships: Engage operations leaders, engineering teams, IT executives, and C-suite decision-makers by demonstrating business value.
  • Generate Pipeline: Consistently create self-generated opportunities through cold outreach, referrals, industry events, networking, and strategic account planning.
  • Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work closely with engineering, technical sales, marketing, and leadership to deliver customized customer solutions.
  • Expand Customer Relationships: Identify opportunities for long-term account growth and strategic partnerships.

Must-Haves

  • 5+ years of successful business development experience with a PROVEN history of generating new business and exceeding sales goals.
  • Demonstrated success developing business within ports, airports, rail, manufacturing, or other industrial markets.
  • Strong hunter mentality with the ability to build and manage your own pipeline.
  • Experience selling complex technical, industrial, infrastructure, or enterprise solutions.
  • Excellent relationship-building and executive communication skills.
  • Proven ability to manage long sales cycles and multiple stakeholders.
  • Experience using CRM systems to manage pipeline, forecasting, and customer activity.
  • Self-motivated and comfortable working remotely while managing a multi-state territory.

Preferred Qualifications
