Overview
A mortgage brokerage is hiring a Remote Bilingual Processor/Trainer — Mandarin and English for a newly created leadership role. This position is designed for an experienced Non-QM processor who can manage a full pipeline, train other processors, support Mandarin-speaking clients and partners, and represent the company in lender and industry-facing conversations.
The right candidate will have deep Non-QM processing experience, strong Mandarin and English communication skills, and the ability to build structure, workflows, SOPs, and training resources as the company grows. This is not a standard processing role. This person will have real influence over processing operations, training, lender relationships, and the company’s ability to serve Mandarin-speaking borrower markets.
Responsibilities
  • Process a full pipeline of Non-QM loans with accuracy, speed, and attention to detail.
  • Work on Non-QM products such as VOE, P&L, DSCR, bank statement, asset depletion, foreign national, and similar loan types.
  • Serve as a backup processor for the team when needed to keep files moving.
  • Onboard and train new internal processors from the ground up.
  • Develop training programs for third-party partners and broker shops on Non-QM guidelines and processing best practices.
  • Build scalable workflows, SOPs, checklists, and processes to improve team output.
  • Act as a Non-QM subject matter expert in client-facing and lender-facing conversations.
  • Travel to seminars, expos, conferences, and lender meetings as needed.
  • Meet with lenders and wholesale partners to evaluate and help acquire new Non-QM loan products.
  • Support Chinese-speaking clients, partners, and lender relationships through Mandarin fluency.
  • Help expand the company’s ability to serve Mandarin-speaking borrowers and partners.
  • Maintain organization and follow-through while working independently in a remote environment.
  • Work full-time PST hours.
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of mortgage processing experience required.
  • Heavy Non-QM processing experience required.
  • Mandarin and English fluency required, spoken and written.
  • Ability to work full-time PST hours required.
  • Strong working knowledge of Non-QM guidelines across multiple product types.
  • Experience processing DSCR, bank statement, VOE, P&L, asset depletion, foreign national, and similar Non-QM loans preferred.
  • Proven experience training processors or managing processing workflows.
  • Ability to build SOPs, workflows, checklists, and training materials.
  • Comfortable representing the company externally at seminars, expos, conferences, and lender meetings.
  • Comfortable meeting with lenders and wholesale partners.
  • Experience with LOS platforms such as Encompass, BytePro, or similar.
  • Proficiency with standard office tools and Google tools.
  • Highly organized, self-directed, detail-oriented, and comfortable working fully remote.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work with internal teams, external partners, and Mandarin-speaking clients.
