About the Job
As the Senior Sales Executive, you’ll be responsible for sourcing, soliciting, engaging, creating demand, and securing large sized customers. You will leverage a strategic solution-driven approach and our best-in-class technology while supporting our sales go-to-market strategy. Your mission is to deliver long-term value to your customers, helping them achieve their departmental and organizational goals. This position is eligible for remote work if the candidate resides in one of the following states: Iowa, Indiana, Missouri, North Carolina, Texas, or Georgia.

Responsibilities:
  • Acquire new large-sized customers aligned with organizational go-to-market strategy
  • Identify, source, cold-solicit, and hold discovery meetings, in order to close potential clients
  • Learn to convey Stutsman Logistics, Inc.’s unique value proposition and determine where we can add value to a customer’s network
  • Foster long-term relationships with customer decision makers at the Director and Vice President level
  • Leverage new and existing technology, such as Hubspot CRM and Zoominfo, to assist with lead generation, documenting progression, and monitoring results
  • Coordinate and collaborate with internal teams to establish account expectations in terms of service and customer experience
  • Regularly engage customer to ensure understanding of where Stutsman Logistics, Inc. could add value
  • Facilitate regular business review presentations, TEAMS meetings, lunches, and entertainment meetings
  • Perform all work in alignment with company culture and values, ensuring accurate prioritization, excellent efficiency, and timely completion of deliverables
  • Demonstrate persistence, discipline, initiative, adaptability, and organization even in the face of adversity
  • Stay informed of industry trends, market demands, competitor threats, and be able to present on market intelligence
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, sales, or a related field is required
  • Minimum of 5 years’ sales experience in large sized company sales in the transportation or logistics industry
  • Must possess a strong understanding of the transportation industry and all transportation modes
  • Knowledge of CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Proven track record of exceeding large sized sales target and growing market share through solution selling
  • Demonstrated ability to solve complex supply-chain and transportation problems
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills that can be leveraged for a variety of audiences
  • Exceptional time management and personal organization abilities
  • Disciplined, persistent, and an ability to manage objections and obstacles
  • Commitment to personal and organization growth and goals
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
  • Overnight travel may be required as needed
