Work Environment

This role is primarily remote, allowing you flexibility while collaborating with a passionate team committed to the mental and emotional well-being of students. Our hospice center provides a nurturing setting where you’ll work alongside educators, occupational therapists, speech therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for our clients. Working hours are from Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with occasional evening shifts and rotating weekends, along with potential on-call requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments to identify the needs of students with special education requirements.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that address mental health challenges, behavioral issues, and promote emotional well-being.
• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions for conditions such as ASD, learning disabilities, ADHD, and trauma.
• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions focused on personal development, emotional regulation, and effective coping strategies.
• Collaborate with educational staff and other mental health professionals to ensure a holistic and integrated approach to care.
• Offer crisis intervention during mental health emergencies, ensuring that students receive immediate and effective support.
• Provide psychoeducation to students and their families about mental health issues and available resources, fostering understanding and empowerment.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with legal, ethical, and organizational standards.
• Participate in team meetings and case conferences to discuss student progress and refine treatment methodologies.
• Stay abreast of the latest regulations and ethical guidelines relevant to mental health practice.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The primary focus of our care is on students with special needs, including but not limited to those diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder, learning disabilities, emotional and behavioral disorders, and ADHD. You will be working with families and caregivers to devise strategies for success within educational settings, ensuring that students not only thrive academically but also develop essential life skills.

Qualifications

• A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• Valid Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) license in the state of Texas.
• A comprehensive understanding of mental health disorders alongside evidence-based treatment modalities.
• Proficiency in mental health assessments, diagnoses, and treatment plan formulations.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders.
• Sound judgment with a strong ethical foundation in maintaining professional boundaries.

Preferred Experience

• Minimum of two years of post-licensure experience in mental health settings, preferably within educational environments.
• Experience with trauma-informed care practices and crisis intervention techniques.
• Familiarity with Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems and maintaining documentation standards.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to a well-rounded compensation package, we provide:
