This position is remote, allowing flexibility in your work schedule while still providing high-quality outpatient services. You will collaborate closely with a team of mental health professionals, participating in regular virtual meetings and case consultations. As a remote therapist, you will utilize telehealth platforms and electronic health record systems to maintain efficient and effective communication with your clients and team members, ensuring compliance with all legal and ethical guidelines.

• Conduct thorough evaluations to assess clients’ symptoms related to mood disorders, including anxiety, depression, and bipolar disorder.
• Develop personalized treatment plans through collaborative discussions with clients, taking into account their unique backgrounds and goals.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic techniques, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), tailored to individual needs.
• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, treatment modalities, and self-care strategies to empower them in their healing process.
• Monitor client progress over time, making adjustments to treatment plans as necessary based on regular assessments and feedback.
• Maintain ongoing communication and collaboration with psychiatrists and other healthcare providers to ensure integrated care and comprehensive treatment.
• Stay informed about the latest research and advancements in mental health treatment related to mood disorders to enhance service delivery.
• Ensure all documentation related to client sessions and treatment is accurate and confidential, adhering to professional standards and regulations.
• Engage in professional development opportunities, training, and supervision as part of a continuous learning culture.
• Advocate for clients by addressing stigma in mental health and ensuring clients’ voices are heard and their needs met.

In this role, you will primarily work with clients struggling with mood disorders, including but not limited to depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder. Additionally, you will provide support to diverse groups, including at-risk populations such as homeless individuals, refugees, and survivors of domestic abuse or trauma. Your efforts will directly influence their journey towards recovery and stability.

• A current and valid state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related mental health field.
• Exceptional communication skills, fostering a safe and trusting therapeutic environment.
• Empathy and understanding, demonstrating a nonjudgmental approach to client interactions.
• Effective organizational and time-management skills to balance workload efficiently.

• Experience working with diverse populations and understanding cultural dynamics in mental health.

• Annual salary ranging from $70,000 to $90,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
