• Conduct comprehensive assessments to gauge the severity, frequency, and duration of clients' mood disorder symptoms, utilizing standardized evaluation tools to inform treatment planning.
• Work collaboratively with clients to develop individualized treatment plans that address their unique goals, preferences, and life circumstances, ensuring a client-centered approach.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions for mood disorders, including but not limited to Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), tailoring each session to maximize client engagement and effectiveness.
• Provide continuous education and support to clients and their families regarding mood disorders, treatment options, and practical self-care strategies, fostering empowerment and resilience.
• Track and document clients' progress meticulously throughout the treatment process, making timely adjustments to treatment plans based on responsive assessments.
• Collaborate effectively with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure cohesive and comprehensive care, utilizing a multi-disciplinary approach to treatment.
• Stay informed on the latest research and advancements in mood disorder treatment to incorporate cutting-edge practices into therapy, enhancing treatment outcomes.
• Maintain thorough documentation of all client interactions, assessments, and treatment plans while adhering to legal and ethical standards to ensure confidentiality and compliance.
• Engage in regular case consultations and team meetings to share insights and strategies, contributing to a culture of continuous learning and professional development within the team.
• Advocate for clients by promoting understanding and de-stigmatization of mood disorders in the broader community, emphasizing the importance of mental health and access to treatment.

The ideal candidate will focus on clients presenting with a range of mood disorders, including depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety-related conditions. You will work with clients to navigate their unique challenges and develop coping strategies that enhance their quality of life.

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from a regionally accredited institution.
• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT in the state of Florida.
• Demonstrated expertise of at least two years post-licensure experience, with a strong focus on treating mood disorders.
• Proficiency in evidence-based therapeutic modalities, particularly Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), is essential.
• Strong understanding of psychopharmacology to support effective collaboration with prescribing psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals.
• A successful track record in delivering noteworthy outcomes for clients with mood disorders, showcasing both clinical skill and compassion.
• Exceptional communication abilities and the capacity to build rapport with individuals from diverse backgrounds are critical for success in this role.

• Experience working in an outpatient mental health setting.
• Familiarity with teletherapy practices and related digital health tools.
• Participation in community outreach or education initiatives focused on mental health awareness.
• Experience with conducting group therapy sessions related to mood disorders.
