• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients' mood disorder symptoms, including depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder, to tailor individualized treatment plans.
• Engage with clients throughout the treatment process, providing compassionate support while implementing evidence-based therapeutic interventions like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).
• Establish and maintain accurate, confidential documentation of client progress in compliance with all legal and ethical standards.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists and interdisciplinary medical teams to ensure a well-rounded approach to each client's care.
• Track treatment outcomes and make necessary adjustments to enhance the therapeutic experience actively.
• Participate in case consultations and team meetings, presenting new findings and contributing to treatment methodologies.
• Educate clients and their families on mood disorders, treatment options, and self-care strategies to improve understanding and engagement in the therapeutic process.
• Advocate for an improved understanding and de-stigmatization of mood disorders within the community.
• Stay informed on the latest research, emerging treatment modalities, and best practices to continually enhance therapeutic effectiveness.

Your primary focus will be on clients experiencing mood disorders, which include a wide spectrum of challenges such as Major Depressive Disorder, Bipolar Disorder, anxiety disorders, and related conditions. The specialized nature of our clinic ensures that you will work with a diverse group of individuals, promoting inclusivity and understanding in care. Your expertise will play a crucial role in supporting these clients on their journey to improved mental health.

• A Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution is required.
• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT in the state of Florida.
• Ideal candidates will possess at least two years of post-licensure experience, particularly in addressing mood disorders.
• Demonstrated expertise in evidence-based treatments such as CBT or DBT is essential.
• Strong understanding of psychopharmacology and the ability to work collaboratively with psychiatrist colleagues.
• Excellent communication skills are critical for establishing rapport with clients and their families in order to facilitate effective therapy.

• Experience in a community health setting or outpatient mental health clinic is highly desirable.
• A proven track record of successful outcomes with mood disorder treatment is preferred.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and remote therapy platforms is a plus.

This position offers a competitive annual salary in the range of USD 80,000 to 100,000, commensurate with experience, along with a sign-on bonus.
