In this role, you will design the core creation and editing experiences used to script, build, iterate, and publish videos at scale-helping redefine how visual content is produced in an AI-first world. You will operate as a senior individual contributor, influencing product direction, shaping roadmap decisions, and setting a high bar for design craft across the creation platform. Working closely with Product and Engineering, you will help define new paradigms for intuitive yet powerful editing tools that serve both simplicity and depth. This is a high-impact role where your work directly shapes a flagship product used by global enterprises, while contributing to a fast-moving, highly experimental, and design-led environment.

Accountabilities
  • Own and drive major design initiatives across the core video creation and editing experience, from early problem framing through to shipped product outcomes and iteration cycles.
  • Define and evolve the design vision for key parts of the editor, ensuring consistency across adjacent product surfaces and workflows.
  • Partner closely with Product and Engineering teams to define success metrics, product principles, and quality standards for creation experiences.
  • Design intuitive yet powerful interaction models for canvas, timeline, and editor workflows that support both novice and advanced users.
  • Develop scalable design systems and interaction patterns that improve usability, consistency, and user mental models across the platform.
  • Enhance collaboration features within the editor, including review workflows, content iteration, and reusable design patterns.
  • Prototype and validate new interaction concepts rapidly, iterating based on user feedback and product insights.
  • Continuously raise the bar for UI quality, interaction design, and system-level thinking across the product experience.
Requirements
  • Extensive experience as a product designer working on complex, high-usage digital products such as editors, creation tools, or collaborative platforms.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating excellence in interaction design, UI craft, and shipped work with measurable product impact.
  • Proven ability to operate in ambiguous problem spaces and translate them into clear design direction and actionable solutions.
  • Strong systems thinking with the ability to understand product architecture, constraints, and their impact on user experience.
  • Experience collaborating closely with Product and Engineering teams in fast-paced, iterative environments.
  • Excellent communication skills with confidence in presenting and defending design decisions in cross-functional settings.
  • Ability to leverage user feedback and behavioral insights to continuously improve product experiences.
  • Comfortable working in highly experimental environments where AI and emerging technologies reshape product paradigms.
  • Track record of contributing to or shaping early-stage product development in SaaS or platform-based products.
