Contract | Full-Time Hours (40 hrs/week) | Fully Remote
About Brick Social
Brick Social is a boutique, full-service paid acquisition agency for 7-9 figure ecommerce brands. We've generated $400M+ in tracked revenue for 200+ DTC brands through creative, paid ads, and landing pages - all under one roof. We cap our client roster intentionally so every brand gets deep focus, faster turnarounds, and senior-level execution.
We're not looking for editors who just chop things together without thought. We're looking for editors who understand that every cut, every caption, every frame is a lever that moves traffic and sales for real businesses.
The Role
As a Video Editor at Brick Social, you'll produce high-performing video ad content that drives engagement and conversions for our DTC clients. You'll work inside a pod alongside a Creative Strategist, designers, and media buyers - turning creative briefs into UGC ads, product demos, testimonials, and branded video that actually performs in-feed on Meta and beyond.
This is a performance creative role. Your work will be measured by what it does on the platform, not just how it looks in the timeline.
What You'll Do
  • Produce video ad content from creative briefs across UGC, product demos, testimonials, and branded ad formats
  • Edit raw UGC and creator footage into scroll-stopping, conversion-focused ads built for Meta, TikTok, and YouTube
  • Maintain brand consistency across motion, color grading, audio, and on-screen typography for every client
  • Iterate quickly on internal and client revisions based on structured feedback
  • Hit every delivery deadline within our established SLAs - on-time delivery is non-negotiable
  • Help build and maintain a reusable library of UGC hooks, product demo templates, stock footage, and music assets to speed up production across the agency
  • Catch your own errors before QA does - spelling, audio sync, branding, cuts, and pacing
What We're Looking For
Required
  • 2+ years editing video ads for DTC / ecommerce brands (agency experience strongly preferred)
  • Hands-on experience editing UGC and creator-style ads for Meta and TikTok
  • Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and CapCut (After Effects is a plus)
  • A reel or portfolio of ecom video ads you've personally edited
  • Sharp attention to detail - typos, audio glitches, and misaligned captions are dealbreakers in our work
  • A strong work ethic and a track record of hitting deadlines without being chased
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced, feedback-heavy environment with quick revision cycles

Nice to have
  • Motion graphics and animation chops (After Effects, lower-thirds, kinetic typography)
  • Understanding of what makes a hook stop the scroll (you've watched enough ads to have opinions)
  • Familiarity with ClickUp, Frame.io, or similar production workflow tools
  • Awareness of Meta ad specs, aspect ratios, and platform best practices
How We Measure Success
You'll be evaluated against clear, measurable KPIs:
  • On-time delivery: 100% target, 95%+ acceptable
  • Revision rate: under 10% target, under 15% acceptable
  • Error rate (audio, cuts, branding, spelling): 0% target, under 2% acceptable
Our Core Values
We hire - and review - against four values:
  • Extreme Ownership - you own the outcome, not just the task
  • Openness - you give and receive feedback directly and without ego
  • Growth - you're actively getting better at your craft, every week
  • Exceeding Our Own Expectations - "good enough" isn't
