Senior Manager, Editorial (Remote) 

Overview:

Weedmaps is seeking a Senior Manager, Editorial  to define and lead the company's editorial voice, cultural point of view, and content narrative ecosystem across Learn, The Feed, creator partnerships, social storytelling, and long-form editorial initiatives. This role serves as both an editorial leader and cultural authority, helping Weedmaps become one of the most trusted and culturally relevant voices in cannabis.

The impact you'll make:

  • Define and evolve the Weedmaps editorial voice and storytelling strategy.
  • Establish editorial standards across all content channels.
  • Build recurring editorial franchises and scalable content systems.
  • Serve as an authority on cannabis culture, audiences, products, and industry trends.
  • Develop editorial calendars, content pillars, creator programming, and educational initiatives.
  • Partner with Creative and Social teams to shape campaign narratives.
  • Ensure editorial accuracy, integrity, and cultural relevance.
  • Manage relationships with freelance writers, contributors, and editorial partners.
  • Connect editorial initiatives across social, lifecycle, creators, and campaigns.
  • Support strategic planning through audience and cultural insight.
  • Lead and develop the editorial organization.

The base pay range for this position is $142,625 - $160,249 per year, and a competitive bonus
