Key Responsibilities

• Provide individualized and group therapy sessions to clients of all ages, including assessments, interventions, and follow-up discussions.
• Conduct thorough remote assessments to ascertain clients' strengths, struggles, and treatment objectives, utilizing digital tools for comprehensive evaluations.
• Create and implement evidence-based treatment plans that are specifically tailored to meet the diverse needs and goals of each client.
• Engage in regular collaboration with interdisciplinary teams and community resources to ensure families receive coordinated and holistic care.
• Maintain meticulous and timely documentation of client interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes in compliance with state regulations and organizational policies.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your role will involve working with a wide range of clients, including children, adolescents, adults, and families who may present with various mental health concerns, such as anxiety, depression, relationship issues, trauma, and more. The diverse client demographics emphasize the importance of utilizing culturally sensitive practices and adapting therapeutic approaches to meet individual client needs.

Qualifications

• Education: A Master’s degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology is required.
• Licensing: Candidates must hold a full, unrestricted license to practice independently as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW. Note that provisional licenses will not be considered.
• Demonstrated ability to conduct professional evaluations, formulate treatment planning, and implement effective therapeutic interventions.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a genuine empathy for clients’ situations, encouraging a safe and nurturing environment.
• Proficiency in using technology for virtual therapy and documentation of client care.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in teletherapy or online counseling is strongly preferred due to the remote nature of our practice.
• Familiarity with evidence-based treatment modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), or other relevant methodologies is beneficial.
• Background in working within diverse populations and familiarity with trauma-informed care practices will serve you well.
