• Conduct initial intake assessments to determine the needs of clients, including comprehensive biopsychosocial evaluations and the formulation of initial treatment plans.
• Maintain and document ongoing client progress, ensuring that assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes are completed in compliance with clinic policy and within necessary timelines.
• Utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques to provide clients with effective, personalized counseling sessions aimed at navigating their mental health challenges.
• Safeguard client confidentiality and maintain accurate medical records in strict adherence to HIPAA regulations.
• Coordinate care by collaborating with family members, other mental health professionals, and community resources as needed to support client well-being.
• Participate in clinical team meetings, individual supervision, and ongoing training sessions to enhance your clinical skills and knowledge.
• Work systematically with the Clinic Director to manage your caseload effectively, ensuring that you meet client needs while adhering to best practices.

As a Mental Health Counselor, you will work with a diverse client base at Senua Counseling Clinic. Our outpatient services cater to individuals and families from various backgrounds, each with unique mental health needs, including anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and trauma. You will provide support from an empathetic and culturally competent perspective, striving to build a trusting relationship with every client.

• A Master’s degree in one of the behavioral health sciences from an accredited institution is required.
• Must reside in, or be willing to relocate to, Oregon, to maintain professional presence in the community.
• Proven experience in conducting biopsychosocial assessments, developing treatment plans, and documenting clinical progress notes is essential.
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and oral, are required to foster understanding and rapport with clients.
• Demonstrated ability to maintain professional boundaries while providing compassionate counseling.
• Strong organizational skills to ensure timely submission of documentation and adherence to administrative protocols.

• Experience with specific therapeutic approaches, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) or other evidence-based treatments.
• Familiarity with community resources and referral pathways to enhance client support systems.
• A passion for mental health advocacy and community involvement in destigmatizing mental health issues.

The salary for this position ranges from USD 100,000 to 105,000 per year, reflecting your expertise and dedication to mental health care. Additional benefits include:
