AAA Club Alliance is hiring for a Corporate Communications Content & Planning Specialist to join our team! This role develops and executes strategic communications that advance AAA Club Alliance's enterprise priorities, strengthen Associate engagement and support business objectives across lines of business. This role creates clear, credible and engaging content for internal communications, corporate storytelling, executive messaging, reputation management and crisis response. Working with leaders and cross-functional partners, the position plans, delivers and measures communications across channels to help Associates understand the Club's vision, mission, strategy and key initiatives.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Drive the development and execution of strategic communications initiatives, including corporate stories that strengthen Associate connection to organizational goals.
  • Research, write and edit clear, consistent and audience-appropriate communications for Associates at all levels.
  • Create company announcements, leadership messages, scripts, talking points, presentations and other enterprise and line-of-business communications.
  • Develop and implement integrated communication plans and internal messaging that support business objectives, protect and enhance ACA's reputation and engage the workforce across line-of-business, hybrid, remote and deskless audiences.
  • Partner with functional teams and Lines of Business to help them communicate effectively with Associates and the broader organization.
  • Provide communication guidance to Lines of Business in support of Club priorities, major activities and enterprise initiatives.
  • Develop content and channel plans that ensure owned channels feature fresh, engaging and relevant information on a regular basis.
  • Measure the effectiveness of communication plans and campaigns to assess progress against goals and objectives.
  • Provide communication counsel to clients and business partners on communication strategy, content, channel selection and execution.
  • Support broad and targeted communication measurement activities, including surveys, focus groups and interviews; analyze metrics and adjust plans based on insights.
  • Recommend proactive, creative ideas to keep the Club current with corporate communication trends and support the launch of new techniques and channels.
  • Serve as a key member of the cross-functional crisis response team and support timely alignment during potential crisis situations.
  • Other job duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in communications or a related field such as Journalism, Public Relations, or English; experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
  • 5+ years of experience in strategic communications/corporate communications/crisis communications.
  • 3+ years of project management experience managing communications.

Knowledge Skills and Abilities:

  • Strong strategic communication planning skills, with the ability to develop messaging plans, content approaches and channel strategies that support organizational priorities and business outcomes.
  • Exceptional writing, editing and storytelling skills, including the ability to translate complex information into clear, concise and audience-appropriate communications.
  • Experience creating company announcements, leadership messages, talking points, scripts, presentations, articles and other enterprise and line-of-business communications.
  • Ability to provide consultative communication counsel to business partners on communication strategy, messaging, channel selection and execution planning.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across functions and build productive working relationships with stakeholders at all organizational levels, including senior leaders.
  • Knowledge of communication analytics, measurement practices and digital tools used to evaluate communication effectiveness, audience engagement and channel performance.
  • Ability to analyze communication data, stakeholder feedback and engagement trends to recommend improvements that strengthen communication outcomes.
  • Proficiency with content management systems, Microsoft PowerPoint and Word, digital publishing platforms and related communication technology.
  • Working knowledge of AI-enabled communication tools and the ability to apply them responsibly to improve content development, planning, efficiency and audience impact.
  • Strong organizational skills, sound judgment and adaptability, with the ability to manage multiple communication priorities, ambiguity and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
