Compensation: $88,000 - $130,000 based on experience and credentials

The Senior Application Developer is a visionary, creator, and crucial contributor to an exceptional digital banking experience at Suncoast Credit Union. Key responsibilities include developing code and features to improve the lives of members. The Application Development Team is a nimble group responsible for all aspects of the systems used throughout the organization. An ideal candidate is an experienced developer who is passionate about technical leadership in a pair programming atmosphere. 

Responsibilities
  • Lead the software design, testing, and implementation of new product features
  • Mentor peer developers and champion pair programming initiatives
  • Conduct code reviews and design reviews
  • Provide technical analysis and effort estimates for user stories and features
  • Collaborate on the design, code, and unit testing to fulfill user story criteria
  • Direct and prioritize work efforts for upcoming sprints
  • Bridge communication between customers and stakeholders
  • Steward software systems by identifying and rectifying software defects
  • Manage applications, APIs, and the overarching technology stack
  • Maintain knowledge and understanding of current laws, tech trends, industry advancements, and regulations
  • Attend educational events to increase professional knowledge and benefit the organization
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or related field (A comparable combination of education, work experience, and training may be substituted for education requirements)
  • 6+ years of C# experience
  • 6+ years of full-stack application development experience
  • 4+ years of cross-platform mobile development experience
  • 4+ years of web development prowess experience
  • 3+ years of experience with cloud storage solutions
  • 2+ years of microservice architecture experience
  • 2+ years of experience with an array of cloud services with Microsoft Azure
  • Strong acumen in coding, technical communication, and documentation
  • Proficient with automated testing tools and CI/CD tools
  • Experience with agile/scrum methodologies preferred
  • Flutter expertise is highly desirable
  • Dart experience preferred
  • Experience with Domain Driven Design preferred
  • Ability to prioritize tasks by effectively managing competing and changing priorities to meet deadlines
  • Accurate, detail-oriented, and organized with task management
  • Ability to resolve intricate problems  
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills to interact effectively with members, staff, vendors, and government regulators
