BDR is seeking an Application Developer to join our growing team! This is a hybrid position that will be performed on-site in Washington, DC. This position requires US Citizenship with an active Top Secret clearance.

Role Overview:
We are seeking an Application Developer to support a new contract. This division consists of a team of technical leaders that deliver advanced technical solutions to government organizations. Our customers have high standards, are technically adept, and use our products daily to support their mission of protecting national security.
Responsibilities:
โ€ข Maintain the existing MS SQL databases, while designing, structuring and maintaining additional databases as required supporting new applications.
โ€ข Perform additions/modification/removals of user access and permissions to databases as required.
โ€ข Identify, troubleshoot and resolve any database issues that impact applications and services deployed.
โ€ข Troubleshoot any performance or capacity issues with the SQL servers.
โ€ข Monitor the database environment to ensure availability and required performance.
โ€ข Develop, review and implement new code, database triggers, stored procedures and scripts required in the environment.
โ€ข Perform indexing, SQL queries, job automation, and database optimization while actively searching for security vulnerabilities.
Required Minimum Qualifications:
โ€ข A BS in IT or related field.
โ€ข CSM Certification
โ€ข Minimum of 5 years managing ticketing systems.
โ€ข Proficient in cloud technology infrastructure, system migrations and business continuity.
โ€ข Experience migrating existing legacy customer data to new ticketing systems.
โ€ข Proficient in creating workflows, asset management, database optimization, reports and implementing ITIL service process management.
โ€ข Experience with automating ticketing systems with APIs and working with developers to automate business processes.
The compensation range for this position is $90,000-100,000. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
In addition, U.S Citizenship is required. Select applicants will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information and be able to obtain a government-granted security clearance. Individuals may also be subject to a background investigation including, but not limited to criminal history, employment and education verification, drug testing, and creditworthiness.
