Job description

This is a new role in a fast-paced technology driven start-up located in Johnson City, TN. Allied Dispatch Solutions is looking for a self-motivated and creative junior or mid-level full-stack software developer to join our team.

As a new hire, you will work with the development team to get up to speed on our platform and then be given increasing levels of responsibility. In the fast-pasted market our business is in we need individuals that love to learn new technologies and find creative solutions to technical problems. We look for strong teamwork in all of our hires. At Allied Dispatch you will work with other developers, Q&A team members, and even the executives to complete projects. Strong communication and a team centric mindset are critical to success.

This role will help drive our best-in-class customer experience for all our clients. At this position you have the opportunity to develop modern front-end interfaces, create new APIs, and extend our back-end software infrastructure. Allied Dispatch's platform consists of mobile, call center agent-facing, and web-based solutions that you will have a hand in developing and maintaining.

Required Qualifications:

  • Extensive experience with the Microsoft .Net programming framework.
  • Proficient in designing and working with SQL database systems.
  • Familiarity with large language models (LLMs) and generative AI technologies.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms, specifically Microsoft Azure and AWS.
  • Skilled in utilizing REST APIs for integration with services like ChatGPT and Google Gemini.
  • Experience managing code through version control systems such as GIT, including cloud-based solutions like GitHub and GitLab.
  • Competent in using GIT for accessing and managing company repositories.
  • Solid knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
  • Experience in creating and implementing unit tests.
  • Background in modern interface design and its execution.
  • Capable of working both independently and as part of a team.
  • Familiar with agile development methodologies.
  • Strong ability to convey development requirements and project needs to stakeholders.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field from an accredited institution, or equivalent certifications, or a robust professional background that reflects similar expertise in software development roles.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in developing with Salesforce and Salesforce Cloud Services
  • Experience with ReactJS, VueJS, or other JavaScript Frameworks

Other Requirements:

  • On-Call Availability within 24-hours contact (when needed). Allied Dispatch operates in a 24/7 industry which requires constant up-time, after hours deployments, and immediate action if errors occur. On-Call may be scheduled and often allows for remote work during these times.
