Keyence Inspector

Job Type: Full-Time | Contract-to-Hire
Schedule: 1st Shift
Start Time: 6:00 AM
Pay: $24.00–$30.00/hour

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Keyence Inspector to perform dimensional and quality inspections in a precision manufacturing environment. This position will use Keyence inspection equipment to verify parts meet engineering and customer specifications while working closely with quality, engineering, and production teams.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Keyence inspection systems and GD&T, along with the ability to read blueprints and accurately document inspection results.

Responsibilities

  • Operate and program Keyence inspection equipment to perform dimensional inspections.
  • Inspect manufactured components against engineering drawings, specifications, and customer requirements.
  • Read and interpret blueprints and GD&T.
  • Perform first-piece, in-process, and final inspections.
  • Use Keyence vision and measurement systems to verify part dimensions and features.
  • Record and document inspection results accurately.
  • Analyze measurement data and identify dimensional or quality issues.
  • Communicate inspection findings with quality, engineering, and production teams.
  • Assist with troubleshooting and resolution of quality and dimensional issues.
  • Support PPAP, inspection documentation, and other quality activities as needed.
  • Use precision measuring equipment such as calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and other inspection tools.
  • Support calibration and verification of inspection equipment.
  • Maintain inspection records and quality documentation.
  • Maintain a clean and organized inspection area.
  • Follow all quality and safety procedures.

Qualifications

  • Keyence experience is REQUIRED.
  • GD&T experience is REQUIRED.
  • Previous experience in quality inspection, dimensional inspection, or metrology.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings.
  • Experience performing dimensional inspections and layouts.
  • Ability to analyze measurement results and identify dimensional issues.
  • Experience with precision measurement tools.
  • Manufacturing or CNC machining environment experience preferred.
  • Experience with vision inspection systems is a plus.
  • Knowledge of PPAP, SPC, CPK, or other quality tools is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with quality, engineering, and production teams.
  • Reliable attendance and attention to detail.
