Job description

Regional Technical Sales Manager – Contract – Veterinarian Sales

North Territory | AniCell Biotech

Location: Remote / Home office, covering MI, IN, OH, KY, WV, VA, TN

Compensation: Commission-only, with travel expenses paid

Type: Independent contractor

About AniCell

AniCell Biotech is a pioneer in regenerative veterinary medicine, developing all-natural, biologic products that help horses and companion animals with injuries and conditions that conventional care alone can’t fully address. Our products are used by equine veterinarians, sports medicine practitioners, and small-animal veterinarians who want better outcomes for their patients. We’re a tight, mission-driven team — and we work with sales partners who genuinely love this industry and the animals we serve.

The Opportunity

We’re hiring a contract Regional Sales Manager to take over an established book of business across the Northeast. You’ll be stepping into existing relationships with veterinary practices — both large-animal (horse) and small companion animal — and growing the territory from there. This is a high-autonomy role for an experienced animal-health salesperson who wants real ownership of a region, uncapped commission, and the chance to represent a category that’s changing what’s possible in veterinary care.

• Own and grow an existing customer base of equine and small-animal veterinary practices across the six-state territory.

• Hit and exceed regional sales targets through a mix of in-clinic visits, phone selling, and ongoing account management.

• Contribute to strategic planning by sharing what you’re hearing from the field — customer needs, competitive moves, and product feedback.

• Build and execute account-level action plans that drive productivity, quality, and customer-service standards.

• Forecast territory performance, propose an annual budget, manage expenses, and adjust course when the numbers say so.

• Spot new product opportunities and surface ideas on packaging, positioning, and service improvements based on what customers are actually asking for.

• Resolve customer issues quickly and run periodic account audits to keep the territory healthy.

• Represent AniCell at trade shows and veterinary conventions when needed.

What We’re Looking For

Must-haves

• Proven animal-health or pharmaceutical sales track record, with existing relationships in the veterinary space.

• At least 2 years of professional sales experience.

• Strong phone-selling chops — comfortable closing without always being in the room.

• Bachelor’s degree in business, animal science, microbiology, biochemistry, or a closely related field.

• Hands-on experience with animals, including horses and dogs.

• Self-motivated and disciplined, working from a home office.

• Detail-oriented, organized, and reliable follow-through.

• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

• Proficient with Microsoft Office.

• Able to travel throughout the territory to make sales calls.

• Able to move or lift 30 pounds.

Personality fit

Outgoing, energetic, confident, and genuinely fun to work with. We’re a small team and chemistry matters.

Equipment you’ll need to provide

• Laptop

• Cell phone with unlimited minutes

• Printer

• iPad or tablet (helpful but optional)

Compensation & Benefits

• Commission-only, with an established book of business already in place — meaning revenue from day one for the right person.

• Travel expenses paid.

• Independent contractor structure with the freedom to run your territory your way.
