Job description

Keyrus Consultants are collaborative, curious, and passionate about building impactful planning solutions. As an Anaplan Solutions Architect, you will serve as the lead designer and subject matter expert for complex Anaplan implementations focused on Sales Performance Management (SPM) use cases.
This role requires deep technical and SPM functional expertise in Anaplan, including the Polaris calculation engine. Direct experience working with Anaplan's Territory and Quota, Account Segmentation, Sales Capacity applications is a plus but not required.
You will work closely with client stakeholders and project teams to translate strategic goals into robust models, ensuring adherence to best practices and high performance.
This role is critical in ensuring the successful deployment of new Anaplan models and must provide excellent service, make best practice recommendations, and identify opportunities for future projects.
The ideal candidate will have strong English communication skills, deep expertise in model building, a strong technical background working with live Anaplan models, and be able to deliver results for complex problems in different industries.
Responsibilities of the SPM Solution Architect Include:
  • Architect, design, and implement scalable Anaplan solutions leveraging both Classic and Polaris engines.
  • Lead delivery of enterprise-grade models across in financial planning & analysis across industries.
  • Serve as technical authority for solution design, data architecture, model performance optimization, and governance.
  • Collaborate with clients to define end-to-end planning architecture, including data flows, integrations, and user experience.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to align solution design with organizational objectives and EPM best practices.
  • Lead design reviews, data mapping, model build, UAT, and deployment.
  • Provide hands-on mentorship to model builders and consultants, ensuring adoption of Anaplan Way and modeling standards.
  • Collaborate with data integration specialists to connect Anaplan with ERP, CRM, and BI systems.
  • Evaluate and implement new Anaplan AI capabilities (e.g., Co-Planner, Co-Builder, Forecaster) to drive predictive insights.
  • Create demo models, proofs of concept, and support pre-sales activities with innovative solution prototypes.
  • Drive continuous improvement, identifying opportunities for performance tuning and re-architecture.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to clients on planning transformation and connected planning maturity.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to clients, understanding their strategic goals and challenges.
  • Mentor and provide guidance to junior consultants and team members on Anaplan best practices and conduct training sessions to enhance the Anaplan expertise of the team.
  • Identify gaps in business and technical requirements, testing, potential project risk, and communication issues in client delivery
  • Deliver presentations and demonstrations to audiences ranging from executives to business users
  • Determine priorities, scope, timeline, goals, and key milestones for requested enhancements and model defects
  • Facilitate knowledge-sharing sessions to enhance the overall understanding of Anaplan within the organization.
  • Review and optimize existing Anaplan implementations for improved performance and user experience
  • Maintain customer focus and demonstrate leadership to drive consensus and project related decisions
  • Serve as the application and software subject matter expert throughout the client engagement

Required Qualifications:
  • Background in multi-dimensional modeling, analytics, or business intelligence
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in implementing Performance Management Solutions using Anaplan
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as consultant or working on industry as SME on functional roles
  • Exposure to the Sales Performance Management function via Anaplan project work and/or previous corporate experience (ideally both)
  • Delivered Sales Performance Management use cases in Anaplan, such as territory and quota planning, incentive compensation management, sales forecasting, account segmentation, and sales capacity planning etc.
  • Prior experience in a project team environment using structured methodologies for gathering business requirements, business processes, data conversions, and system interfaces
  • Ability to work independently, manage small to mid-size engagements, or parts of a larger engagement
  • Deep understanding of Anaplan's Polaris Engine
  • Strong skills in model performance optimization, data hub design, and hierarchy management.
  • Experience integrating Anaplan with source systems (ERP, HCM, CRM, Data Warehouse).
  • Certified Solution Architect and/or Master Anaplanner.
  • Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrated organizational and prioritization skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Information Management and Technology, Engineering, or related field and equivalent experience
  • Strong English communication skills

Desired Qualifications:
  • Prior experience in business development and providing sales support including contribution to RFPs and conducting demo sessions for prospective clients
  • Familiarity with AI-driven forecasting, machine learning pipelines, and predictive analytics
  • Experience in Agile delivery methodologies.
  • Deep understanding of Anaplan's optimizer, Anaplan Forecaster and Anaplan Data Orchestrator
