  • Consulting with partners to develop and implement annual alumni engagement plans aligned with school, unit, and university priorities.
  • Connecting stakeholders to IUAA services and resources, including event support, training, data services, enterprise-wide solutions, and funding opportunities.
  • Creating and managing communication channels that share university updates, best practices, collaboration opportunities, and engagement resources.
  • Managing virtual communities and facilitating knowledge sharing among advancement professionals across the institution.
  • Leading onboarding, training, and professional development opportunities that strengthen alumni engagement capabilities across campuses, schools, and units.
  • Collaborating with IUAA teams and advancement partners to maximize participation in signature programs and increase alumni engagement outcomes.
  • Supporting planning and execution of the annual Alumni Engagement Conference, including programming, stakeholder engagement, session coordination, promotion, and follow-up activities.
  • Assisting with implementation and adoption of enterprise-wide data tools, including the Alumni Engagement Dashboard and related reporting resources.
  • Supporting the Academic Grant Program through application review, stakeholder communication, financial coordination, and grant distribution.
  • Serving on cross-functional committees, advisory groups, and strategic initiatives to advocate for alumni engagement priorities and strengthen collaboration across the university.
Qualifications

Required knowledge, skills, and abilities include:

  • Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills with the ability to collaborate across diverse groups and organizational levels.
  • Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and facilitation skills.
  • Demonstrated project management skills and ability to successfully manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Experience developing programs, engaging volunteers, managing budgets, or supporting constituent engagement initiatives.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree required, experience will be taken inconsideration.
  • Minimum of three years of professional experience in program development, volunteer engagement, alumni relations, constituent engagement, event management, advancement, higher education, or a related field.
  • Experience in alumni engagement, development, higher education, or nonprofit organizations preferred.
