Is AI replacing Scrum Master jobs?

AI is not replacing Scrum Master roles but is increasingly used to support Agile teams by automating routine tasks, tracking progress, and providing data insights. Scrum Masters focus on facilitating team collaboration, coaching, and removing impediments, skills that are difficult for AI to replicate fully. The role remains essential in Agile environments, with AI serving as a tool to enhance productivity rather than replace human oversight.

Is there an AI Scrum Master?

An AI Scrum Master is a role that involves using artificial intelligence tools to assist with Scrum processes, such as automating task management, tracking progress, and facilitating communication within Agile teams. While AI can support Scrum practices, it does not replace the need for a human Scrum Master who provides leadership, coaching, and team facilitation. Most organizations still require a human to oversee Agile methodologies effectively.
