Job Title: Project Manager
Job Description
This role leads construction projects from initial feasibility and design through production, installation, and closeout, with a strong focus on modular and offsite construction. You will manage schedules, budgets, documentation, and stakeholder communication while ensuring that quality standards and customer expectations are met at every project phase.
Responsibilities
- Manage projects from feasibility and design through production, installation, and final closeout.
- Oversee project schedules, ensuring activities align with milestones and critical paths are maintained.
- Monitor project budgets, track costs, and support value engineering and cost-saving initiatives.
- Review architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection plans to ensure accuracy and constructability.
- Coordinate Requests for Information (RFIs), submittals, plan revisions, and change orders in a timely and organized manner.
- Work closely with architects, developers, general contractors, engineers, and internal teams to align project goals and expectations.
- Coordinate procurement activities, including material sourcing, ordering, and delivery scheduling.
- Track project progress and proactively identify and mitigate schedule or cost impacts.
- Maintain thorough project records, including reports, photos, logs, and supporting documentation.
- Provide regular project status updates to leadership, customers, and other key stakeholders.
- Ensure quality control processes are followed and that project deliverables meet established standards.
- Support construction document control, including version management and distribution of updated drawings and specifications.
- Utilize project management and construction management software tools to plan, track, and report on project activities.
- Collaborate with internal design, engineering, procurement, and production teams to support modular and offsite construction workflows.
Essential Skills
- Demonstrated experience as an Project Manager or equivalent position.
- 1–3 years of practical experience in ground-up residential, multifamily construction, or related fields, or 1–2 years in project management from initiation to completion.
- Hands-on experience in project management and construction management, including scheduling, budgeting, and coordination.
- Experience with change orders, RFIs, project coordination, project scheduling, and document control.
- Strong understanding of blueprints, architectural plans, and structural drawings.
- Knowledge of quality control processes in construction environments.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Practical experience with project management tools such as Microsoft Project, Autodesk Build, or similar platforms.
- Proficiency in estimating and takeoff software such as PlanSwift, Sage, or comparable tools.
- Familiarity with modular construction, offsite construction, or prefabrication workflows.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey technical and project information.
- Excellent organizational abilities, including multitasking, prioritization, and time management.
- Attributes of integrity, credibility, and strong commitment to organizational goals and mission.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field (preferred but not required).
- PMP certification, Project Management certification, or equivalent project management credential (preferred).
- Experience with Procore, Autodesk Build, or Microsoft Project for construction project management.
- Experience managing single-family, multifamily, or commercial construction projects.
- Understanding of estimating, quantity takeoffs, and procurement processes.
- Strong knowledge of building codes and construction documentation.
- Prior experience in modular, prefab, or offsite construction environments.
- Familiarity with Autodesk and Autodesk building systems.
- Experience with construction document control and construction document management.

Job Type & LocationThis is a Permanent position based out of Bakersfield, CA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $105000.00/yr.
