SENIOR ADVERTISING COPYWRITER

ROLE OVERVIEW

Paravel is seeking a highly experienced Senior Advertising Copywriter to help lead campaign development, messaging strategy, and creative execution across key client engagements.

This role sits at the intersection of strategy and execution. One will translate insights into compelling ideas, shape campaign concepts, develop messaging systems, and write high-impact copy that drives engagement and action. Should be equally comfortable developing a campaign platform, contributing to creative direction, and crafting the final line that makes a campaign resonate.

As one of our primary creative production leads, the candidate will work closely with strategists, creative directors, account leads, and production teams to bring integrated campaigns to life across multiple channels. This role requires both strong conceptual thinking and exceptional writing craft.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Campaign & Concept Development

  • Develop campaign platforms, messaging frameworks, and creative concepts across integrated marketing initiatives.

  • Contribute to early-stage ideation and strategic creative thinking.

  • Partner with strategists, designers, and creative leads to bring ideas from concept through execution.

  • Help shape campaign narratives that can be adapted across channels and audiences.

Messaging Leadership

  • Own and develop messaging across client engagements, ensuring strategic alignment and consistency.

  • Translate positioning, audience insights, and strategic objectives into compelling narratives.

  • Build and maintain messaging systems that support brand growth and campaign performance.

  • Establish, refine, and steward brand voice across multiple clients and industries.

Copywriting & Creative Production

  • Write and refine copy across a wide range of formats, including:

  • Campaign concepts and headlines

  • Digital advertising

  • Social media

  • Website and landing page content

  • Email marketing

  • Video and radio scripts

  • Brand messaging and narrative frameworks

  • Sales and fundraising communications

  • Own copy development from concept through final production.

  • Collaborate with production teams to ensure messaging remains consistent through execution.

  • Adapt messaging effectively across channels while maintaining the integrity of the core idea.

Strategic Collaboration

  • Work closely with strategy teams to ensure creative work is grounded in audience insights and business objectives.

  • Simplify complex ideas into clear, compelling language.

  • Understand audience motivations and create messaging that drives engagement and action.

  • Provide creative input on campaign direction, positioning, and content strategy.

Quality & Editorial Excellence

  • Serve as a lead editor and quality control resource across client deliverables.

Experience

  • 7+ years of experience in advertising, agency, brand, or marketing environments.
