Life Edge Behavioral Health Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Therapist to join our innovative team in providing specialized mental health care. This position is fully remote, allowing our therapists to work from the comfort of their own homes while maintaining a professional and therapeutic environment. • Conduct thorough, trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients' trauma histories, psychological states, and establish appropriate treatment plans.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment strategies that focus on trauma recovery, employing various therapeutic techniques.
• Utilize evidence-based modalities, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to assist clients in processing their trauma.
• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions aimed at building coping strategies, enhancing resilience, and supporting healing.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other health professionals to ensure an integrative approach to patient care, enhancing overall treatment efficacy.
• Provide crisis intervention and immediate support during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring client safety and security.
• Educate patients and families about trauma responses, available therapies, coping mechanisms, and community resources for ongoing support.
• Maintain accurate, confidential documentation in compliance with HIPAA and other relevant legal and ethical standards.
• Engage in case consultations and team meetings, contributing to collective knowledge about trauma-informed care practices.
• Stay current with the latest research, tools, and methodologies in trauma therapy to ensure best practices are utilized.

The individual in this role will primarily work with clients who have experienced trauma, including those dealing with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. Our patients often require empathetic, patient-centered approaches tailored to their unique experiences and challenges. You will have the opportunity to make a profound impact on their healing journeys through dedicated, individualized care strategies.

• Your educational background should include a Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• You must hold a current and valid state licensure as an LMFT, LMHC, LCSW, or LCSW-R.
• Proven ability to work effectively with trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment modalities.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, exhibiting patience, empathy, and a non-judgmental approach in patient interactions.
• Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and digital communication tools.
• Capacity to thrive in team settings, contributing meaningfully within a multidisciplinary team structure.

A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience is preferred. Experience delivering trauma-focused therapies is crucial to provide effective, evidence-based interventions. Familiarity with community resources and crisis intervention strategies will be advantageous in enhancing our client services.

The salary for this position ranges from $90,000 to $110,000 annually, commensurate with experience and expertise. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including:
