Position Summary

Broughton Partners is seeking a driven, relationship-oriented Business Development Sales Representative to grow and manage partnerships with law firms across the country. In this role, you will serve as a trusted advisor to referring and litigating firms, educating them on Broughton Partners' turn-key mass tort case acquisition solutions and driving new business through consultative selling.

This is a high-impact role at the intersection of legal marketing, business strategy, and relationship management. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, understands the mass tort litigation landscape, and is passionate about connecting attorneys with the tools they need to serve more clients and fight for justice.

Key Responsibilities

Law Firm Business Development

  • Identify, prospect, and cultivate relationships with plaintiff law firms, referring firms, and litigating firms nationwide
  • Present Broughton Partners' full suite of mass tort marketing and case acquisition services to attorneys and firm decision-makers
  • Drive new partnership agreements and expand existing relationships through consultative, value-driven sales strategies
  • Attend legal industry conferences, summits, and networking events (e.g., Mass Torts Made Perfect, NTL Summit) to represent the Broughton Partners brand

Client Relationship Management

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned law firm partners throughout the sales cycle and onboarding process
  • Collaborate with internal marketing, intake, and operations teams to ensure seamless campaign launches and client satisfaction
  • Conduct regular check-ins and performance reviews with partner firms using the Broughton Partners Portal
  • Address partner inquiries, resolve concerns, and proactively identify opportunities to deepen engagement

Sales Strategy & Pipeline Management

  • Maintain a robust pipeline of prospective and active law firm partners using CRM tools
  • Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly revenue targets and new partner acquisition goals
  • Develop tailored proposals and campaign recommendations aligned to each firm's tort focus, budget, and claimant acquisition goals
  • Track and report sales activity, KPIs, and revenue metrics to leadership

Industry Knowledge & Compliance Awareness

  • Stay current on active and emerging mass tort litigations (e.g., Social Media Addiction, Hernia Mesh, PowerPort, JDC-IL, CMTA etc.)
  • Educate law firm partners on ethical, compliant marketing practices and the risks of fraudulent legal advertising 
  • Communicate the value of Broughton Partners' co-counsel model and originating firm structure to prospective partners
  • Support partners in understanding Broughton's intake, qualification, and retainer delivery processes
 

Qualifications

Required

  • 3+ years of B2B sales, business development, or account management experience
  • Demonstrated success meeting or exceeding sales targets in a consultative selling environment
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
  • Self-motivated with the ability to manage a high-volume pipeline independently
  • Proficiency with CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, SalesLoft) and sales productivity tools

Preferred

  • Experience in legal marketing sales, Legal Business Development, Financial Sales, Investment Banking, Wealth Management.
  • Existing network of plaintiff law firm contacts or legal industry professionals
  • Familiarity with mass tort litigation lifecycle, case evaluation, and claimant acquisition processes
  • Knowledge of legal advertising compliance and bar ethics guidelines
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field, or Industry Experience
