About 406 Recovery

406 Recovery is a Montana-based telehealth organization providing compassionate, evidence-based treatment for mental health and substance use disorders. Our care model integrates psychiatry, therapy, medication management, and recovery support to deliver accessible, stigma-free treatment to individuals and families across Montana.

We are building a pipeline of talented, mission-driven Psychiatric Advanced Practice Providers interested in future part-time opportunities with our growing clinical team.

Position Summary

We are seekingPsychiatric Advanced Practice Providers Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners (PMHNP) or Psychiatric Physician Assistants (PA-C CAQ-PSY)with experience or strong interest inpsychiatryandaddiction medicineto deliver evidence-based, patient-centered telehealth care. As a member of the 406 Recovery clinical team, you will assess, diagnose, and treat individuals with mental health and substance use disorders using guideline driven, evidence-based approaches.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and follow-up visits via telehealth.
  • Diagnose and manage mental health and substance use disorders within scope of license and training.
  • Prescribe and manage psychiatric medications, including MOUD (Medication for Opioid Use Disorder) when applicable.
  • Collaborate with supervisors, therapists, and other team members to ensure coordinated, holistic care.
  • Document clinical encounters in the EHR accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Participate in case consultations, quality improvement initiatives, and team meetings as needed.
  • Maintain compliance with all state and federal regulations, including telehealth requirements, prescribing rules, and controlled substance monitoring programs.

Qualifications

  • Licensed Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) or Psychiatric Physician Assistant (PA-C CAQ-PSY)in the state of Montana (or eligibility for Montana licensure).
  • Experience inpsychiatry,addiction treatment,primary care with behavioral health, or related fields required.
  • Eligibility to prescribe buprenorphine for MOUD.
  • Strong communication skills and comfort with delivering care virtually.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
  • Commitment to evidence-based, person-centered, and recovery-oriented care.
