Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' psychological, emotional, and social needs to create individualized treatment plans.
  • Engage in regular teletherapy sessions with clients, employing proven therapeutic techniques and tools tailored to their unique circumstances.
  • Facilitate group therapy sessions and workshops, focusing on recovery strategies, coping mechanisms, and peer support.
  • Continuously monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as needed, using evidence-based practices to guide interventions.
  • Provide education and resources to clients and their families, helping them understand addiction and the recovery process.
  • Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure a cohesive approach to treatment, participating in case reviews and team meetings.
  • Stay informed about the latest trends and research in mental health and addiction treatment, incorporating new findings into practice.
Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will directly impact individuals grappling with substance use disorders at various stages of their recovery journey. Qualifications
  • A Master's degree in Social Work is required to ensure that candidates possess the foundational knowledge and skills crucial for this role.
  • A current LCSW license in Virginia is mandatory to practice legally and ethically within the state.
  • Demonstrated ability to conduct clinical assessments, draft intervention plans, and maintain accurate and timely progress notes.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
