Work Environment

This role operates in a remote setting, allowing flexibility while maintaining professional rigor. You will be interacting primarily with students in a school environment, either through virtual sessions or onsite interventions, thus ensuring that support is easily accessible to those in need. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth assessments and screenings to understand students’ substance use history, mental health conditions, and unique treatment requirements.
• Develop and implement comprehensive, individualized treatment plans that address both addiction issues and co-occurring mental health disorders, ensuring holistic and effective care.
• Facilitate engaging individual and group therapy sessions using evidence-based methodologies such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and motivational interviewing (MI) to encourage positive behavioral change.
• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary treatment team, including educators, school nurses, and counselors, to ensure a coordinated approach to client care.
• Provide family education and support aimed at fostering a community of understanding around substance abuse issues, enhancing the recovery process.
• Document all interactions and treatment plans accurately, maintaining confidentiality and compliance with legal and ethical standards.

Qualifications

• A current and valid Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) credential.
• A master’s degree or higher in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• Strong foundation in evidence-based practices for managing substance use alongside co-occurring mental health disorders.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients and conduct motivational interventions.

Compensation and Benefits

• Competitive annual salary ranging from USD 115,000 to 130,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
