Accent Care Counseling Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Therapist to join our growing team. In this full-time position, you will have the opportunity to provide telehealth services to a diverse clientele in Baldwin, New York, and beyond. As a therapist, you will conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and engage in evidence-based interventions that facilitate healing, personal growth, and resilience in your clients.

This position is entirely remote, utilizing a telehealth platform to reach clients effectively. This allows for a flexible work schedule while providing comprehensive therapy services from the comfort of your home. Our remote environment fosters collaboration among our clinicians through frequent team meetings, case consultations, and shared resources to ensure continuity of care.

• Conduct thorough, comprehensive assessments of clients' mental health status, which includes evaluating emotional, psychological, and social needs to formulate accurate clinical diagnoses.
• Design and implement tailored treatment plans utilizing evidence-based therapies, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Mindfulness practices, in both individual and group settings.
• Provide immediate crisis intervention and support to ensure client safety and stability during acute mental health emergencies.
• Keep meticulous and confidential records, including treatment plans, progress notes, and detailed assessment results, while adhering to ethical and legal standards.
• Engage in interdisciplinary collaboration with other healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists, social workers, and wellness coaches, to deliver comprehensive, high-quality care.
• Educate clients and their families about mental health issues and available resources, empowering them to make informed decisions about their treatment and advocate for their needs.
• Commit to professional development through ongoing training, workshops, and staying current with the latest trends and practices in mental health therapy.

Our practice caters to a varied population, including individuals, couples, and families facing challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, and life transitions. Our clients reflect diverse backgrounds and experiences, and as a therapist, you will adapt your therapeutic approaches to meet their unique needs and cultural contexts.

• Current licensure as a Mental Health Therapist (LMFT, LMHC, LCSW, or LCSW-R) in the state of New York.
• A Master's or Doctoral degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or a closely related field.
• Demonstrated competency in the clinical assessment and diagnostic process.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, allowing for effective rapport building with clients.
• Ability to work autonomously while also contributing to a collaborative team environment.
• A strong commitment to professional ethics, confidentiality, and client respect.

• Previous experience in a telehealth setting is advantageous but not mandatory; entry-level professionals are encouraged to apply.
• Experience working with diverse populations and knowledge of multicultural practices in therapy is preferred.

The compensation for this position ranges from USD 85,000 to 100,000 per year, reflecting your qualifications and experience.
