  • Progress Monitoring: Utilize various assessment tools to regularly evaluate client progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure the best outcomes.
  • Multidisciplinary Collaboration: Work closely with psychologists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate integrated care, sharing insights and consulting on complex cases to maximize client outcomes.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your work will primarily focus on teens and young adults, ages 18 to 30, who are navigating a range of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. Many of our clients come to us seeking guidance to overcome life transitions, academic pressures, and social anxieties. Your role will be pivotal in helping them build the resilience needed to thrive in a rapidly changing world.

Qualifications

  • Valid Licensure as a Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in New York State.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in mental health treatment methodologies.
Preferred Experience

We ideally seek candidates with a minimum of 2 years of direct clinical experience in mental health counseling, particularly with the adolescent and young adult population. Experience in telehealth practices and knowledge of evidence-based therapies will be advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits

In addition to a competitive salary ranging from USD 85,000 to 100,000 annually, Genie Mental Health Clinic offers a range of benefits designed to promote personal and professional well-being, including:
