Job description

Description:

Fath Properties owns multiple apartment communities in the North Central Dallas Region. We are seeking candidates for a Remodeling Specialist. The Remodeling Specialist is a Floater position, working at several locations on various projects.

The Remodeling Specialist is responsible for the following tasks:

  1. Drywall repair and installation. Must be skilled at all parts of the drywall process.
  2. Prepping and painting common areas, vacant and occupied units to Fath standards. Interior painting includes trim and baseboards and all touch ups.
  3. Demolition and installation of cabinetry, both kitchens and bathrooms. Replace hardware as needed
  4. Basic plumbing. Basic carpentry, including installation of trim and baseboards
  5. Appliance removal and replacement.
  6. Fully completes assigned tasks on a timely basis. This includes work orders, payroll reporting,
  7. Performs thorough clean-up upon completion of work.
  8. Maintains a neat appearance and projects a professional and positive attitude.
  9. Is conscious of safety at all times. Adheres to safe work practices and follows safety guidelines at all times. Immediately reports job-related accidents and hazards to supervisor.
  10. Maintains SDS sheets.

Performs other reasonably related duties as assigned by immediate supervisor and other

management as required. These duties and responsibilities are subject to change at any time.

Job Specifications:

Education: Ability to read instructions and safety labels.

Experience: Full-time prior experience required. Must have working knowledge of

painting, staining and trim work.

Physical Requirement: Able to safely lift 50 lbs. Able to climb ladders and steps. Able to

repetitively bend, twist, lift, walk, stand.

Working Conditions: Perform work inside and outside buildings with exposure to weather.

Equipment/Tool Usage: Required to provide own hand tools and painting equipment.
