Job Descriptionย 

PCI is seeking an experiencedย Projectย Managerย for its PCI Atlanta 101 operations based in Fayetteville, GA.ย 

  • Estimate, bid, and secure construction projects of sufficient revenue and margin to meet the prescribed business plan.ย 
  • Initiate andย maintain customer contact to enable securements and profitable execution of work.ย 
  • Direct and manage the construction activities of projects in the area of responsibility in order toย maximize margin contribution results.ย 
  • Interpret and analyze contract documentsย regardingย terms, specifications,ย clarifications,ย and requirements for each project.ย 
  • Manageย job-site personnel to maintain effective relationships with theย owner, engineers, utilities, subcontractors, contractors, unions, and others.ย 
  • Implement the corporate programย regardingย loss control and claims managementย pertaining to workers' compensation.ย 
  • Analyze andย monitor actual vs. estimated costs to develop action plans whenย unfavorable variances are detected. Ensure that an effective job control system isย utilizedย on each project.ย 
  • Effectively estimateย the majority of work applicable to the respective region. Responsible for solicitingย theย assistanceย of the estimating department whenย necessaryย in order toย assure maximum bidding activity without sacrificing quality.ย 
  • Negotiate contract issues and variances and further negotiate change orders, scope changes, claims, and other project issues asย required.ย ย 

Salary range: $98,700 - $132,000 annual salary plus a non-guaranteed annualized bonus program.

Basic Requirementsย 

  • A minimum of 7 years of Construction Management work experience.ย 
  • Experienced in Commercial, Industrial, and Mechanicalย construction.ย 
  • Proficient skills in Microsoft Excel & Microsoft Word.ย 
  • Strong ability to read, understand, and interpret specifications and drawings for PCIโ€™s scopes of work. Excellent communication and customer service skills.ย 
  • Strong record ofย establishingย and maintaining customer relationships.ย 
  • High levelย of attention to detail and cost analysis.ย 
  • Ability to accurately read schedules for sequencing and durations of applicable scopes of work.ย 
  • Proficiencyย with computer takeoff & estimating software such as On-Screen Takeoff andย Quickbid.ย 
  • Ability to juggle multiple projects and keep each on schedule, ensuring that all deadlines are met.ย 
  • Ability to communicate well with all levels of employees within the company.ย 
  • Must be flexible and enjoy working with a diverse group in a fast-paced environment.ย 

This position is safety sensitive.ย ย 

Preferred Requirementsย 

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Construction Science or Construction Management.ย 
  • OSHA Certification.ย 
  • Local to the Atlanta metro area is preferred.ย
