Job description

The Corporate Services Coordinator reports to the Relocation Director and serves as the primary point of contact for incoming referrals from relocation and broker partners. This role requires a strong understanding of referral processes and fees, relocation processes and procedures, and comprehensive knowledge of Long & Foster sales offices and associates by geographical area. The Corporate Services Coordinator is responsible for delivering timely and exceptional customer service; proactively anticipating the needs of relocation and broker partners and Long & Foster agents; ensuring all referral-related tasks are completed accurately and within established timeframes; and providing a sense of urgency, guidance, and resolution for service-related concerns.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

  1. Receives customer referral information from relocation companies, broker partners, and affinity programs, and places referrals with qualified Long & Foster agents based on geography and client needs.
  2. Assesses referral and client requirements and accurately enters referral details into Salesforce, ensuring correct referral terms are communicated to the assigned agent and properly recorded for accounting and referral source tracking.
  3. Collaborates with Long & Foster agents, managers, and other parties as needed to address service complaints, customer concerns, prior-contact disputes, referral-fee collections, and related issues.
  4. Provides timely status updates to Long & Foster agents, managers, and partner relocation management companies (RMCs) and brokers; follows established workflows to keep files current and ensures all communications are documented.
  5. Partners with the Relocation Director and operational support team members to provide feedback on agent performance and identify RMC/broker opportunities, supporting strong relationships and continued growth of the referral network.

  • Establish and maintain positive and productive work relationships with all staff, customers and business partners.

  • Follow the company HR Policy, the Code of Business Conduct and all subsidiary and department policies and procedures, including protecting confidential company information, attending work punctually and regularly, and following good safety practices in all activities.

Qualifications

Education:

  • Associate degree in business or related field or equivalent knowledge and work experience.

Experience:

  • Minimum of two to four years’ business experience.
  • Real estate or relocation background preferred.
  • Data Integrity – Strong working knowledge of Salesforce. Experience working with finance teams

  • Customer Focus – Demonstrates a strong understanding of the needs and expectations of relocation and referral partners by providing timely, accurate, and professional communication. Consistently prioritizes customer satisfaction and delivers exceptional service to all parties involved in the referral process, including referral partners, agents, and internal stakeholders.
  • Partnership with Real Estate Agents – Understands that successful referrals depend on matching client needs with the appropriate agent.
  • Strong computer and communication skills.
  • Planning and Organization – Effectively plans and organizes daily activities. Manages multiple referrals simultaneously while meeting deadlines and maintaining a high level of accuracy and responsiveness.
  • Communication – Conveys referral information clearly, accurately, and professionally through written and verbal communication.
