Job description

All on the Field (AOTF) runs paid canvassing and ballot-access programs across multiple states. We are hiring State Field Directors to lead these programs on the ground.

ย

Each director owns a paid canvass program of 20-plus canvassers, with room to grow, and is responsible for meeting door-count and quality targets on a tight timeline. The role combines team management with operational discipline: recruiting and directing a field team while maintaining the integrity of the data it produces. These are in-state positions; relocation is required. We operate in several states, and placement depends on the program.

ย

Responsibilities

  • Lead day-to-day operations of a paid canvass program of 20+ canvassers
  • Hire, train, and manage canvassers and team leads
  • Build and own the program's staffing plan: set canvasser schedules, determine coverage, and verify canvasser hours daily
  • Enforce data quality and field integrity standards, including spot-checks and fraud prevention
  • Set and hold daily and weekly production goals; track performance and course-correct
  • Work alongside our operations team to manage recruitment and supply logistics
  • Report program numbers to AOTF leadership on a daily cadence
  • Other duties as the program requires
ย

Qualifications

  • 2+ cycles of field experience
  • Experience managing a field team; experience managing managers preferred
  • Track record of meeting metric-driven goals on deadline
  • Proficient with VAN/Votebuilder and standard field tools
  • Composed and decisive under the pressure of a live program
  • Willing to relocate; valid driver's license and access to a vehicle
ย

The Details

  • Salary: $6,500 to $7,500 per month
  • Health Benefits
  • Mileage Reimbursements
  • Phone reimbursement: Monthly reimbursement for work-related phone use, up to $100/mo
  • This position will be based in Georgia and will require in-person presence. Candidate must be in, or willing to relocate, to the area.
  • Schedule: Full-time. Because you are directing a field team that works evenings and weekends, your hours will track the program and regularly fall outside a standard workday.
  • Term: Position runs through November 2026
  • Reports to: Director of Field Operations
