Job description

Mazak is looking for a Field Service Installation Coordinator to join the Northeast Service department. This position will have the responsibility to coordinate all aspects of new machine installations and large machine relocations in the Windsor Locks, CT area. Communicates with customers and other stakeholders and ensures exceptional service support is provided in accordance with corporate metrics and guidelines.
Scope and Responsibilities:
Essential duties include, but are not limited to the following:
• Proactively attains a safe and healthy work environment for all employees.
• Reviews each machine acknowledgement, identifies open ER's, accessories, and expedites as required
• Research's power, air and all other technical aspects of each machine to be installed and prepares preinstall customer checklist and associated documents
• Organizes customer pre- installation meeting and ensures resulting action list is completed by all stakeholders
• Distributes preinstall checklist and obtains customer confirmation & sign back.
• Tracks machine & option completion and any department 9 deliverables
• Coordinates with KY Traffic, customer, freight company, rigger, service team leader & applications
• The ability to maintain a high degree of customer satisfaction and adhere to our service management principles.
• Utilizes excellent call center / customer relationship skillset.
• Proactively determines the need for specialty tools, lifting equipment, personnel lifts etc. and ensures these items are available when Field Service Technicians arrive on site
• In some regions this position may be combined with other roles such as Technology Center facilities administrator
Education/Certification:
• 2 Year Technical Degree or equivalent experience is a plus
Skills:
• Project Management / high activity scheduling experience
• Customer relations experience
• Ability to multitask
• Excellent communication skills
