The primaryresponsibilitywill beproviding multi-disciplined Security support for a variety of classified programs and customers. This involves interaction with internal and external customers, and exposure to classified and sensitive unclassified informationnecessitatingconsiderable use of tact, diplomacy, and discretion.

Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Support general plant physical security requirements

  • Oversee the daily operation of classified work areas.Pick-up and drop-off classified mail
  • Processsecurity clearance packages
  • Support the management and execution of DoD security as it applies to the National Industrial Security Operating Manual (NISPOM) and Intelligence Community Directives (ICDs)
  • Provide directassistanceand support in areas of Program (FSO/CPSO), Personnel (PERSEC)and Physical Security
  • Monitoring,maintaining, and verifying information in various security databases to ensure systems are up to date and procedural/regulatory requirements are met
  • Scheduling meetings and conferences
  • Setting up andmaintainingvarious files
  • Providing direct daily security support to classified programs
  • Other security related duties as assigned

Basic Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent and 4 yearsadditionaleducation and/or related experience
  • Must have the ability to obtain andmaintaina U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance
  • Experience in physical security including access control, perimeter and area security, and emergency response
  • Experience in providing detailed one-on-one and group training
  • Strong computer skills includingproficiencywith Microsoft Office Suite
  • Database Management Skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to include working with senior leaders/managers, customers, employees, and security personnel
  • Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team
  • Workadditionalsite locations at managements discretion.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Current, active Secret clearance
  • Bachelor's Degree and three years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, anadditionalfour years of directly relevant experience may be considered
  • Understanding and application of automated access control systems (Lenel & Trilogy preferred) and camera systems (ExacqVisionpreferred)
  • Understanding of Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms (BATF) directives, employee possessor screening,licensingand assessments
  • Understanding of and experience with DoD 5100.76, Physical Security of Sensitive Conventional Arms, Ammunition & Explosives (AA&E)
  • Understanding of and experience with Global Trade Compliance (US Customs & Border Patrol) programs
  • Understanding of and application of DMP alarm systems and the Underwriters Laboratories (UL) intrusion detection standards and certification process
  • Excellent organizational interpersonal communication skills including report writing and presentations
  • Desire to learn and qualify to perform within the other security disciplines (Program & Personnel Security

Primary Level Salary Range: $44,400.00 - $74,000.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results.
