Job Description:

L3 Harris Technologies Inc. is seeking an experienced Logistics Support Engineer to join our logistics team in supporting Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) activities on the Counter-Communication System (CCS) program, and the Combat Mission Systems Support (CMSS) contract.  Logistics support is for both the sustainment of fielded systems and the development of new system architecture.

Essential Functions:

  • Provides supply support through material research, ordering, warranty tracking, packaging, handling, storing, and transporting.
  • Exercise logistics support utilizing standard practices and processes.
  • Provide analysis using logistics tools and metrics.
  • Assist with equipment maintenance during system downtime periods.
  • Record logistics management information utilizing Raytheon EAGLE integrated logistics support software system; or similar.
  • Provide input for technical orders for the CCS and Meadowlands systems
  • Assist with management of repair cycle process for on-equipment, off-equipment, and associated spares for fielded systems.
  • Assist with help desk services by providing telephone support for vital equipment and problem resolution/troubleshooting to provide fault isolation and recommended corrective actions.
  • Analyzes technical data, failure analysis reports, and original equipment manufacturing notices to determine/formulate recommendations regarding system sparing, repair cycle venues, failure corrective actions, and sustainable replacement items.
  • Receive, track, document, status and store parts in all phases of the repair cycle.

Qualifications:

  • Active TOP SECRET security clearance, ability to obtain further security clearance (TS/SCI).
  • Must be able to obtain a DoD Common Access Card (CAC).
  • Bachelor's Degree and minimum 4 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, there is a minimum of 8 years of prior related experience.

Preferred Additional Skills:

  • Active TS/SCI security clearance.
  • Operations, Maintenance, or Logistics experience with fixed site or deployable space operations systems. 
  • Experience/familiarity with CMSS program mission area (as an operator/maintainer or as a contractor).
  • Experience developing and maintaining Logistics Management Information using SAE-GEIA-STD-0007B as guidance.
  • Experience developing maintenance and operations procedures, conducting certification, and supporting verification processes for Technical Manuals in accordance with Technical Orders 00-5-1 and 00-5-3.  Develop procedures for AFTO Form 22, TCTO, IOS/ISS processes.
  • Experience developing and presenting logistics product technical documentation and training material.  Outstanding communication (written and verbal) skills and capable of developing and presenting reports and presentations to the project teams, weapon system management and customer personnel in a clear, articulate, and concise manner. 
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite to include Excel, Power Point, and Word.
  • Working knowledge in acquisition life cycle processes and product development.
  • Familiar with DoD and commercial logistics tools and databases; extensive knowledge of LMI/LSA data products.
  • Understand drawing and specification hierarchy and development.

In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in Colorado state is $57,000-$106,500. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
