We are a thriving CPA firm located in Dallas, Texas, and we are currently seeking an experienced Senior Tax Professional to join our team for bookkeeping projects. If you are looking for a dynamic work environment and a chance to work on meaningful projects, this opportunity is perfect for you!

Looking for a sharp and highly motivated individual interested in working with very advanced tax strategies (mentored by tax attorneys; you will receive CPE) used in preparing/reviewing business and individual tax returns. Candidates must be located in or willing to relocate to the DFW area, as this position is on-site.
Responsibilities:
• Prepare and review business and individual tax returns using advanced tax strategies.
• Prepare and review supporting tax schedules or computations for the draft tax returns.
• Oversee filing of federal, state, and local tax returns/documents.
• Work closely with tax attorneys for mentorship and professional development.
• Propose tax strategies by studying federal, state, and local tax regulations, understanding, and applying tax laws.
• Advise management on the tax implications of business decisions.
• Analyze financial information and its impact on taxation.
• Ensure federal, state, and local taxes are paid on time.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related study.
• Minimum five years of tax experience.
• Enrolled Agent or CPA certification preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to prepare federal and state income tax returns.
• Ability to work independently, with high organization and motivation.
• Knowledgeable in tax laws, regulations, and deadlines preferred.
• Experience with Lacerte tax software is a HUGE plus.
