Jimenez and Associates Recovery Lodge Center is seeking a compassionate and skilled Full-Time Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our dedicated team in Long Beach, New York. This position is primarily remote, allowing for flexibility in your work schedule while you engage with clients from the comfort of their homes or our community health clinic. • Conduct comprehensive bio-psychosocial evaluations to identify individual patient needs and barriers to treatment, developing personalized treatment plans that align with their mental health goals.
• Utilize a variety of therapeutic modalities, including individual and group therapy, to address the psychological needs of patients, monitoring their progress and adapting treatment strategies as necessary.
• Consult closely with our multidisciplinary team, providing insights into the psychosocial factors affecting our patients and participating in collaborative care meetings to enhance treatment compliance and coordination.
• Document all social work activities in accordance with departmental policies, maintaining accurate and timely patient records that reflect each patient’s journey and progress.
• Educate patients and their families about psychosocial recommendations and medical advice, facilitating a clear understanding of treatment processes to boost compliance and engagement.
• Advocate for patients within the community by coordinating support services, with a focus on self-determination, thereby improving social support networks and resource access.
• Engage in continuous professional development through training and educational opportunities, staying abreast of current community resources to enhance patient outcomes.

The primary focus of this role is on patients from diverse backgrounds who are facing various psychosocial challenges, ranging from mental health disorders to situational crises. By addressing factors such as aging processes and cultural considerations, the LCSW will deliver care that is sensitive and specific to the needs of each client, ensuring that those in our care feel understood and supported.

• A Master’s Degree in Social Work from an accredited graduate institution.
• A current Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) licensure from the State Board of Social Work Licensure.
• Demonstrated competency in providing care to patients, with an understanding of various life stages and cultural patterns that influence patient behavior and treatment outcomes.

Candidates with six months to one year of clinical experience, particularly within health or mental health settings, are preferred. Experience working with populations relevant to our client base is highly valued, as is training related to the specific therapeutic needs of these groups.

The compensation for this role ranges between USD 85,000 – 100,000 annually, reflective of the individual’s experience and credentials.
