Job description

ABOUT RELENTLESS
Relentless is an organizing company focused on unlocking political power through relational organizing. Relational organizing is the simple, proven concept that people talking to their friends and family is more effective than strangers talking to strangers. Our flagship product, Rally, is a social graph, power-mapping tool, and program management platform that makes running scaled relational programs simple. Our in-house program team brings their deep experience to supercharge the programs that run on Rally and mobilize communities at scale to have meaningful conversations, get out the vote, and so much more.
This cycle, we're running Rally Organizing programs that compensate tens of thousands of low-turnout voters for their time as they learn about upcoming elections and mobilize and persuade their friends and family to vote.
ABOUT THE ROLE
  • Program Organizers are at the heart of our Rally Organizing Programs - a high-energy, community-driven effort to activate voters and change their relationship to democracy. You'll help create virtual experiences that leave participants feeling enthusiastic, supported, and confident as trusted messengers in their communities.

  • This is a fast-paced, scaling program, and we're looking for someone who hits their stride in that kind of environment - someone who picks up new information quickly, adapts as priorities shift, and brings genuine passion for democratic participation to everything they do. Program Organizers develop a deep, holistic understanding of the program that allows them to move fluidly between shift types, carrying knowledge and momentum from one role into the next.

DETAILS & COMPENSATION
Type: Part-time, Hourly
Location: Remote
Pay: $25/hour
Reports To: Deputy Director of Programs, Organizer Experience
This is a part-time temporary cycle position with a start date in September, and end date of November 15, 2026. We are looking for a minimum availability of 15 hours per week, with a cap of 29 hours per week.
We will be reviewing applications on a rolling basis, and the bulk of the hiring for this role will take place in September.
JOB DUTIES
Event Leadership: Program Organizers lead our 1-hour virtual events end-to-end, serving as the face of the program to participants. Each event involves filling one of three rotating event roles, managing breakout rooms throughout the session, and monitoring rapid-response Slack channels in real time.
Above all, Program Organizers foster a positive, inclusive environment where participants feel supported, confident, and excited about the work they're doing. A customer service and solutions-oriented mindset is key - you'll be fielding questions on the fly and helping participants troubleshoot in real time, all while keeping the energy high.
Inbox Support: Program Organizers take scheduled shifts as the primary point of contact for our participants, responding to inquiries via the program inbox and providing timely, accurate, and helpful information. You'll assist participants in navigating program logistics, requirements, deadlines, and resources - and where needed, identify and troubleshoot issues or escalate them to the appropriate team.
This isn't just reactive support. You'll proactively follow up with participants to ensure they're on track, help with onboarding processes, and gather feedback on participant experiences to share with the broader team. A solutions-oriented mindset and genuine empathy for participants are essential - we want every participant to feel supported every step of the way.
Additional Duties: As our program grows and evolves, additional shifts and responsibilities may arise. Program Organizers are expected to step up where needed during their assigned shifts and adapt with the team.
Who We're Looking For
You're comfortable and energized by fast-paced environments. You're a strong, warm communicator, reliable with your assigned shifts, and a team player who actively shares information across roles. Experience with virtual event facilitation is a plus, and comfort with Slack and managing multiple channels is a must.
This position is entirely virtual and requires access to a computer, reliable internet, and a quiet place to host online events.
How to apply
In lieu of a cover letter, we are asking you to answer the following questions below, which includes a short skills assessment and video recording. Please do not spend more than 20 minutes on the application questions. We understand that we are asking for some time and effort on the front end, and as such are committed to providing clear communication on our end. We will be hiring this role on a rolling basis and we commit to providing a monthly update on where we are in our process. The bulk of our hiring will take place in September.
EQUAL OPPORTUNITY
Relentless provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type. We welcome applicants from any educational background, race, ethnicity, religion, creed, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, sex, age, immigration status, citizenship status, national origin or ancestry, marital status, pregnancy, criminal record, mental or physical disability or disorder, HIV antibody status, parental or familial status, or veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local laws.
