Community & Relationship Marketing Manager

Job description

Description:

We are a well-established, mid-size personal injury firm serving the Tampa Bay community. As we continue to grow, we're looking for a dynamic and genuinely people-oriented marketing leader to strengthen and broaden our reach in the community — someone who builds real relationships, shows up consistently, and turns authentic connections into lasting referral partnerships.

This is not a digital-ads or campaign-management role. It's a community-first position for someone who loves getting out from behind the desk, engaging with people, and representing our firm with warmth, professionalism, and purpose.

What you'll do

  • Develop and execute a community outreach strategy that builds the firm's visibility and reputation across Tampa Bay neighborhoods, civic organizations, and local events.
  • Cultivate and maintain meaningful referral relationships with medical providers, chiropractors, urgent care clinics, body shops, and other referral sources.
  • Represent the firm at community events, sponsorships, charity functions, networking groups, and local business associations.
  • Own the firm's social media presence — creating authentic, engaging content that reflects our brand, highlights community involvement, and builds trust with potential clients.
  • Develop and execute follow-up systems to ensure no relationship or lead goes cold — you are the firm's connector and follow-through champion.
  • Collaborate with attorneys and intake staff to align outreach efforts with case goals and firm priorities.
  • Track and report on outreach activity, referral sources, and community engagement results.
  • Identify sponsorship and partnership opportunities that align with the firm's values and target audience.
Requirements:
  • 3+ years of experience in community relations, business development, or relationship-based marketing — ideally in legal, healthcare, or professional services.
  • Proven track record of building and sustaining referral networks through genuine, organic relationship development.
  • Exceptional follow-up discipline — you have a system, you work it, and nothing falls through the cracks.
  • Strong social media skills, including content creation, platform management, and community engagement (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn).
  • A natural networker and communicator — comfortable in a boardroom, at a neighborhood event, or in a hospital waiting area.
  • Self-starter who can manage a calendar full of external commitments with minimal supervision.
  • Deep familiarity with Tampa Bay's communities, neighborhoods, and local organizations is a strong plus.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.

What we offer

  • Competitive base salary commensurate with experience, plus performance incentives.
  • Full-time position with the resources, autonomy, and support to succeed in the field.
  • Health benefits and paid time off.
  • A collaborative, close-knit team that is genuinely invested in doing right by our clients and our community.
  • The opportunity to make a meaningful impact on a growing firm — and on the lives of injury victims we serve.
