Description

The National Relationship Executive focuses on managing relationships at the executive level for national agency organizations including networks, franchises and brokers. ย The National Relationship Executive develops strategies for growth and expansion in partnership with their national partner contacts. They are responsible for securing commitments for growth for both business and personal lines, tactical plan development, and joint execution to achieve goals. Collaboration and communication across internal Distribution partners in 8 regions is required to align and execute national plans.

ย Responsibilities:

  • This is a distribution leadership role where you will be the executive contact for an assigned portfolio of existing national agency partners, brokers and networks focused on the independent agency channel.
  • Responsible for strategic and tactical development of frameworks to execute growth strategy including goal setting, tracking/reporting, and communication of results.
  • Provides insight and consultation to Senior Leaders regarding assigned relationships for compensation, financial management and marketing strategies to drive growth and maintain stable profitability position.
  • Proactively seek and execute on opportunities to move large blocks of business to CL/PL within national partners.
  • Coordinates with regional field leadership to ensure a holistic and aligned approach to all relationships.
  • Provides national strategies, compensation and partner plans to regions to ensure awareness and local leverage and further drive performance.
  • Responsible for formal business reviews with partner executives and content/participation for partners' national events.
  • Prospects and analyzes new broker, agent and consultant opportunities.
Qualifications
  • Advanced level knowledge of products, marketing, distribution channels and brokers in both personal and business lines.
  • Experience working with complex national agency partners, especially networks and franchises
  • Strong and proven insurance skills and acumen required, including marketplace dynamics, products, compensation, and industry trends.
  • Skills/Experience required: leadership/management; strategic marketing & segmentation; problem analysis and resolution at a strategic and functional level; negotiation; communication, presentation, collaboration and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated cross functional collaboration and ability to lift a strategy from concept to execution across multiple stakeholders
  • Proven ability to build productive relationships both internally and externally; as normally acquired through 8 or more years of progressively more responsible experience in distribution, business development, relationship management within the national insurance community
