My Kind of Bank is looking for a driven, people-focused Relationship Banker to join our Detroit Lakes team. If you enjoy connecting with others, helping customers reach their financial goals, and being active in your community-this is the role for you. 


What You'll Do

The Relationship Banker is responsible for building, managing, and growing customer relationships by guiding individuals and small businesses through their full financial journey-from opening new accounts to meeting lending needs. This role combines sales, service, and lending, with a strong focus on proactive outreach, community involvement, and delivering a personalized banking experience.

  • Bring in new customers through outreach, networking, and community involvement
  • Open and service consumer and business deposit accounts
  • Identify financial needs and recommend personalized banking solutions
  • Manage and grow a portfolio of consumer and small business loans
  • Guide customers through the lending process from application to closing
  • Build lasting relationships through ongoing service and follow-up
  • Represent the bank at local events and actively participate in the community
