Job Description
MAKE UP FOR EVER is looking for Intern, PR & Influencer Relations. Based in the New York Office and reporting to Manager, PR & Influencer Marketing, this person will work closely with the internal PR department in meticulously tracking influencer and media coverage and reporting on results
What You'll Do:
  • Meticulously monitor and tag all influencer coverage via Tribe Dynamics, alerting the broader team to top coverage in real time.
  • Conduct daily searches to identify brand placements and add to Monthly PR Report.
  • Work with PR & Influencer Marketing Team to plan and execute large scale product mailings to social media influencers, pro makeup artists and traditional media editors (includes messenger and shipping).
  • Responsible for timely and flawless execution of any daily product send outs as they arise, including influencers, pro makeup artists, and traditional media editors.
  • Update PR media and influencer lists on an ongoing basis, as directed by the Assistant, PR & Influencer Marketing.
  • Maintain PR closet organization when in office.
  • Monitor social media for relevant and timely industry and competitor news (i.e. press trips, mailings, collaborations, etc.), alerting the internal PR team on an ongoing basis.
  • Assist with special PR projects, including but not limited to research and event setup/breakdown, when applicable.
  • Support pro artist relations as needed, including research, send outs and list maintenance.
  • Learn necessary skills for effective communication with cross-functional partners.

Qualifications
Who You Are:
  • Current rising Junior or Senior pursuing a Bachelor's Degree.
  • Detail oriented, adaptable, and professional with a strong passion for beauty industry.
  • Strong analytical, written and verbal communication skills
  • Microsoft Excel & PowerPoint
  • Must have a strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Self-motivated and ability to complete tasks alone
  • Previous beauty experience is a plus
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.

The upper third of the salary range is the targeted pay level for employees with significant tenure in their role and are consistently high performers.
