What is a relations professional?

Relations professionals, often referred to as public relations (PR) specialists or corporate relations managers, are responsible for managing the communication between an organization and its public audiences. They work to build and maintain a positive image for their company or clients, handle media inquiries, write press releases, and coordinate public events. Their goal is to foster strong relationships with stakeholders, including customers, partners, employees, and the media, to support the organization's reputation and objectives.

How does a relations professional typically collaborate with other departments to achieve organizational goals?
