Registered Nurse Informatics professionals act as a bridge between clinical staff and IT teams, ensuring that new healthcare technologies meet the needs of both users and patients. They gather feedback from nurses and other clinicians, translate clinical requirements into technical specifications, and assist in configuring or customizing clinical information systems. Collaboration often involves leading training sessions, participating in interdisciplinary meetings, and troubleshooting issues to optimize system performance. This teamwork is essential for successful technology adoption and improving patient care outcomes.
