To thrive as a Regional Mechanical Engineer, you need a solid background in mechanical engineering principles, project management, and typically a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field. Familiarity with CAD software, building management systems, and relevant certifications such as Professional Engineer (PE) licensure are commonly required.
