Job description

Looking for a change of scenery and a chance to help others? Join a traveling Physical Therapist team in Montgomery, TX at an outpatient clinic where you will help patients recover from injuries and manage chronic conditions while experiencing life in a new location. Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
  • Active Texas Physical Therapy license required to start the assignment.
  • BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
  • Experience or comfort treating a mixed-age outpatient caseload, including pediatric (ages 8โ€“9) through geriatric (ages 80โ€“90).
  • Demonstrated experience or interest in orthopedic and sports rehabilitation, including spine care, total joint replacement, elbow and hip rehabilitation, aquatic therapy, and OrthoBiologics preferred.
  • Facility expects collaboration with on-site occupational therapists who may manage hand therapy caseloads.
  • Open to new graduates. Clinical experience or strong academic preparation in outpatient orthopedics is preferred.


Assignment Details

  • Facility type: Outpatient clinic.
  • Shift name: Days.
  • Typical schedule: Mondayโ€“Friday, contractors typically Mโ€“F.
  • Clinic hours: Mondayโ€“Friday 7:00 AM โ€“ 7:00 PM; Saturday 8:00 AM โ€“ 2:00 PM.
  • Shift options: 8-hour or 10-hour shifts. Typical shift times include 8โ€“5, 9โ€“6, or 10โ€“7.
  • Workweek: 40 hours per week.
  • Caseload: 12โ€“14 patients per day with an 8-hour workday.
  • Team composition: approximately 4 physical therapists (mix of part-time and full-time), 5 PTAs, and 4โ€“5 therapy technicians.
  • Flexibility: Scheduling flexibility is available and encouraged. Option to work four weekdays plus other configurations per clinic needs.
