Overview

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Regional Compliance Director serves as the senior compliance leader for an assigned market and provides strategic oversight of compliance and privacy activities across multiple hospitals, physician practices and outpatient facilities.

Responsibilities
  • Provides leadership, strategic direction, and operational oversight for the Regional Compliance Program, ensuring alignment with Ardent's mission, values, Code of Conduct, and enterprise compliance strategy.
  • Ensures implementation of the Seven Elements of an Effective Compliance Program.
  • Serves as the regional compliance executive responsible for integrating compliance initiatives into hospital and physician enterprise operations.
  • Serves as primary compliance advisor to market senior leadership.
  • Leads regional Compliance Committees and support facility-based compliance committees.
  • Develops compliance dashboards, metrics, and program effectiveness assessments.
  • Leads enterprise risk assessments and develop annual compliance work plans.
  • Directs auditing and monitoring activities involving operational compliance.
  • Leads investigations involving misconduct, fraud, abuse, privacy concerns and regulatory violations.
  • Develops corrective action plans and ensure sustainable remediation of identified risks.
  • Mentors and develop facility compliance personnel and privacy officers.
  • Prepares reports and presentations for compliance committees, executive leadership and governing boards.
  • Partners with Legal, Internal Audit, Revenue Cycle, HIM, Human Resources and Information Security functions.
Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 7+ years healthcare experience with multi-facility hospital systems
  • 5+ years healthcare experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Masters degree
  • CHC or CHPC certification
