Job description

We are seeking a dynamic Regional Sales Manager to join our foodservice sales team, reporting to the Sr. Director of Foodservice Sales and Marketing. This role is crucial for driving sales growth and expanding our presence within the foodservice industry focused on the East Region. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in strategic account management and a deep understanding of the foodservice market, particularly in the bakery sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with Brokers, Distributors and Key Independent foodservice customers in the East Region.
  • States: ME, NH, VT, MA, RI, CT, NY, NJ, PA, DE, MD, DC, VA, WV, NC, SC, GA, FL, AL, MS, TN, KY
  • Identify and target potential new clients, presenting our product portfolio and negotiating contracts to achieve sales targets.
  • Force concentration on Distributor partners, winning white space opportunities and growing points of distributions.
  • Ability to scale with fast-casual, coffee chains, hotels, universities, and B&I.
  • Provide regular reports on sales performance.
  • Represent 37th Street Bakery at industry trade shows, distributor food shows, and conferences to promote our products and forge new business relationships. This includes preparing and delivering presentations, coordinating booth setups, and conducting product demonstrations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and broker partners to ensure alignment of sales strategy.
  • Drive projects and customer-driven solutions and engage Bakery Operations to understand current capabilities required to deliver solutions and profitable growth.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.    


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Sales, Marketing, or experience in related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in sales, specifically in the foodservice or bakery industry.
  • Strong understanding of the foodservice distribution channels and customer network.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to travel as needed to meet with customers and work trade-show/food shows.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
