Job description

Marine Corps Community Services (MCCS) is looking for the best and brightest to join our Team. MCCS is a comprehensive program that supports and enhances the quality of life for Marines, their families, and others in the Marine Corps Community. We offer a team oriented environment comprised of military personnel, civilian employees, contractors and volunteers who keep the organization functioning smoothly and effectively.Qualifications:A four-year degree from an accredited university in Financial Management or Accounting is required AND a minimum four (4) years of experience in corporate business and/or Non-appropriated instrumentality (NAFI) financial accounting.  A broad working knowledge of all aspects of accounting with the ability to apply generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and sound financial management techniques in all phases of financial data gathering, summarizing, analyzing, and reporting

Knowledge of end-to-end General Ledger processes.  Skill in analytical reasoning.  Knowledge of APF accounting and reporting.  Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, specifically Excel. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with all levels of management and subordinates, exercise the proper degree of tact, ingenuity, persuasion, and resourcefulness; make clear and concise written and oral persuasions; exercise and demonstrate a high level of sound and independent judgment. Education:Employment Type: OTHER
